I hate everyone that’s more successful than me
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me
Yesterday at work celebratory beers
And now they’re telling me that they’re cutting corners here
They told me that it’s time for me to pack my stuff
Is there a time life won’t be rough, I’ve finally had enough
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me (woah, than me)
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me (woah, than me)
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me
They turned the power off, so there’s no hot food tonight
I’m burning 20 candles just to see some light
It’s not safe for our kid, now this place is not our home
I fear there’s no place left to go, and I want you to know
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me (woah, than me)
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me (woah, than me)
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me
[Solo]
I hate you so damn much
You’re driving me insane
Right out my brain
So I say, lame
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me (woah, than me)
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me (woah, than me)
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me
I hate everyone that’s more successful than me
The Taxpayers were able to put down a tacklist of songs that allow us to go on a journey. In this album we experience the manic highs and lows one may experience in a life long battle with deteriorating mental health. The picture at times grim and beautiful is one I continually come back to as its tragedy never fades. Ulysses Johnson
